Services

I would love to hear from you!

Please reach out if you have any questions about the services I offer and how I can help you.

Support for your child

If you have concerns about your child and their behaviour, learning, social or emotional development and this is impacting on their well-being I would love to explore how I can help support you or your child.

I am ACC registered and provide therapeutic support under ACC Sensitive Claims.

Assessments

Alongside tailored support for children and young people I am able to undertake standardised educational and cognitive assessments. I also offer Autism assessments.

Supervision

As a registered psychologist I am able to provide supervision to other professionals. I support professionals to reflect and deal with challenges they face at work and in their daily life. I have several years experience supervising professionals.

About

I completed both my degree in Primary School teaching and Educational / Developmental Psychology overseas in The Netherlands. I moved to New Zealand in 2010 and worked as a special education teacher first before I became registered as a psychologist in 2014.

In my work as a psychologist I have supported children, young people and their parents. Alongside my work with families I have supported teachers in early childhood education, primary and secondary schools. Furthermore, I enjoyed delivering group programs such as Incredible Years and one-on-one programs such as Triple-P parenting.

I use a range of different modalities in my one-on-one therapeutic work including CBT, ACT, DBT for adolescents, and motivational interviewing. I use an IFS lens when I work with children and young people. I create a safe space where we can explore what is going for you or your child on and how we can move forward and create positive change.

Livy, my adopted greyhound is with me in my office. She is very calm and gentle. If people are unsure about dogs she can stay on her dog bed during sessions.
